Paul Tierney will take charge of Swansea City’s Premier League fixture against Huddersfield Town on Saturday (3pm).

Tierney, from Wigan, will be the man in the middle for a Swans game for the first time this season.

It was at the Liberty where he first refereed a Premier League game, with the Swans beating West Brom 3-0 back in August 30, 2014.

The 36-year-old will take control of a top-flight game in SA1 for the third time, with the Swans never having conceded while Tierney has been in charge.

He has refereed five games so far this term, which have included games in League Two, the Championship and Premier League, and has issued 15 yellow cards.

He will be assisted at the Liberty by Daniel Cook and Mark Scholes, while Mike Jones is the fourth official.
