Man in middle | Paul Tierney

19th August
First team

Paul Tierney will be the man in the middle when Swansea City travel to face QPR on Wednesday night.

Wigan official Tierney - who has extensive Premier League experience - last took charge of the Swans in their 1-0 defeat at Stoke last season, where a controversial Joe Allen winner was allowed to stand.

He refereed the Swans twice during the previous campaign, overseeing a 2-0 home win over Huddersfield and the goalless draw at Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup.

He will be assisted by Ian Hussin and Darren Cann, the fourth official will be Matt Foley.
