Paul Tierney will be the man in the middle when Swansea City host Cardiff City in Saturday’s South Wales derby (5.30pm).
Wigan official Tierney – who has extensive Premier League experience – is taking charge of the Swans for the first time since a 3-1 win at QPR in August 2019.
He has officiated in the top-flight since 2014, getting his first taste of the Premier League when overseeing Swansea’s 3-0 win over West Brom in August 2014.
Tierney will be assisted by Simon Long and James Mainwaring, while Michael Salisbury is the fourth official.
