Man in the middle | Robert Jones

8th March
First team

Robert Jones will be the man in the middle when Swansea City visit Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night (6pm).

Jones – who had been due to take charge of the original fixture prior to its postponement in January - takes charge of the Swans for the second time this season, having overseen the opening-day win at Preston North End.

Merseyside official Jones also took charge of the Swans twice last season, having the whistle for the win over Cardiff and the draw against West Brom at the Liberty Stadium.

His only other previous Swansea game was the Carabao Cup clash with MK Dons in 2017, which the Swans won 4-1.

Jones, who has refereed in the Championship since 2017, will be assisted by Ian Hussin and Adrian Holmes, while Geoff Eltringham is the fourth official.
