21st November
First team

Stuart Attwell will take charge of Swansea City’s Premier League fixture against Bournemouth on Saturday (3pm).

Attwell, from Nuneaton, will be the man in the middle for a Swans game for the first time this season.

The last time Attwell officiated a match in SA1 was the Swans’ 2-0 loss to Hull City in August 2016.

The 35-year-old will take control of a Swans game at the Liberty for the sixth time, with the Swans never having won a match where Attwell has been in charge. Attwell has also been fourth official twice at the Liberty.

He has refereed 10 games so far this term, which have included fixtures in the Premier League, the Championship, the EFL Cup and the Football League Trophy, and has issued 32 bookings and one red card.

He will be assisted at the Liberty by Adam Nunn and Eddie Smart, while Graham Scott is the fourth official.
