Manuel Benson a doubt for Queens Park Rangers test

Manuel Benson is a doubt for Swansea City’s Championship clash with Queens Park Rangers.

The winger has picked up a hamstring injury, which kept him out of the draw with Southampton at the weekend.

And head coach Alan Sheehan – who also revealed Zeidane Inoussa was among a small number of players nurses bumps and bruises – will make a late call on the availability of the on-loan Burnley player.

“We have had a couple of days on the training pitch and we’re nearly up to full strength,” said Sheehan. 

“A few guys have niggles, obviously Manuel missed the game the other day with a tight hamstring and so we'll have to have a look at that.

“Then Zeidane and one or two more just picked up little bumps so we’ll make a decision ahead of the game.

“It’s a three-game week which is always challenging, but our first focus is on this game against QPR.”
