Martyn Margetson to leave Swansea City at the end of the season

Swansea City can confirm that Head of Goalkeeping Martyn Margetson will leave the club at the conclusion of the 2025-26 season. 

A highly-respected coach, Margetson has spent five seasons across two spells with the Swans, being part of two Championship play-off campaigns during the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons before returning to the club in 2023.

In his five seasons at the club, the likes of Freddie Woodman, Carl Rushworth and now Lawrence Vigouroux have excelled, with Vigouroux recently establishing himself as Chile’s number one at international level.

Margetson will leave the Swans having amassed more than 1,000 senior games as a coach at club and international level.
