MATCH PREVIEW: Swans v Stoke

19th October

The Swans will be aiming to preserve their unbeaten home record when they face Stoke at the Liberty Stadium on Monday (8pm).
Garry Monk's side are yet to taste defeat on home soil this season, with wins over Newcastle and Manchester United being coupled with solid draws against Everton and Tottenham.
Swansea currently sit 13th in the table, just one point ahead of Stoke who won back-to-back games against Bournemouth and Aston Villa prior to the recent international break.
The Swans have won five out of their last six home meetings against Stoke, including a 2-0 victory at the Liberty back in May.

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAID
Swans boss Garry Monk: "It's a key period for us now. Every game is important but we want to get better.
"We had two good games against Stoke last season and we enjoyed those battles. They have shown their quality in recent weeks and we'll be expecting another tough game on Monday."

Stoke boss Mark Hughes: "We're encouraged by the last few performances and more importantly the results, and we're looking forward to the game on Monday.
"They (Swansea) haven't won of late but they're an accomplished Premier League side on their day. Our games in Wales have been difficult for us, we didn't play well last season.
"That probably stopped us being above them come the end of the season and we look back on that performance with a little bit of regret."
