Matt Grimes and Swansea City will have their sights firmly set on extending their winning sequence at home when they host Rotherham United this afternoon (3pm).

The Swans return to action following the international break to kick-off a sequence of nine games to be played between now and Christmas.

They do so having won three of their last four in SA1; securing victories over Millwall, Stoke and Blackburn.

The clash with the Millers is the first of a home double-header, with Sheffield Wednesday set to visit South Wales on Wednesday.

And, having picked up two wins, two clean sheets and six points the last time they had back-to-back home wins against the Potters and Rovers, skipper Grimes is looking for more of the same.

“We would definitely take that again, I think we would snap your hand off if that was offered to us again because that is the ideal,” he said.

“We know home form is important, and those were two good performance we put in, and we got the rewards from it.

“But you take nothing for granted, this will be a tough game.

“I played against Rotherham when they were in the Championship a couple of seasons ago, and I played against them with Northampton.

“They are very hard working, they know how to win games and have experience in their squad.

“I don’t think their points return reflects how well they have performed in games.

“It’s down to us to make sure we impose our game and rise to the challenge, because we know they can cause problems for sides.”
