McBurnie makes Bristol Rovers loan move

7th March 2016

Swansea City striker Oliver McBurnie has joined League Two side Bristol Rovers on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old makes the move to the Memorial Stadium following a successful loan spell with Newport County earlier this season.

McBurnie scored three goals in as many games for Newport, marking his debut with a stunning hat-trick during a 3-0 win over Luton.

If McBurnie receives international clearance in time, he could make his first appearance when Rovers - who are sixth in League Two - host AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday night.
