McBurnie named in Scotland U21s squad

Oli McBurnie has been named in Scotland’s Under-21s squad to face England and Latvia in next month’s UEFA Championship qualifiers.

The 21-year-old has earned eight caps for the young Tartan Army and netted during the 3-1 win over Northern Ireland in March last year but did not feature during the sides 2-0 victory over The Netherlands earlier this month.

Scotland Under-21s face England at The Riverside Stadium on Friday, October 6 before facing Latvia the following Tuesday, September 10 at Stadions Daugava.
