Andy Woolmer will be the man in charge when Swansea City travel to Bloomfield Road to face Blackpool on Saturday.

The man from Northamptonshire last took charge of a Swans game on Good Friday when he presided over a 1-1 draw between the Swans and Barnsley at the Swansea.com Stadium. He gave out four yellow cards on that day, with Matt Grimes booked for Swans.

Woolmer is a very experienced official and was first added to the National List of Referees in 2004. He has blown the whistle during more than 300 EFL matches and was once a Premier League assistant referee.

He has taken charge of just one game so far this term - a League Two contest between Swindon Town and Salford. The match ended in a 0-0 draw and Woolmer handed out nine yellow cards, with two of those going to Swindon's Harry McKirdy who was sent off shortly before half time.

Last season, Woolmer took charge of 33 matches handing out 107 yellow cards and one red.

On Saturday, he will be assisted by Andrew Dallison and Mark Stevens. Andy Haines will be the fourth official.
