Head coach Michael Duff says his players deserve a great deal of credit for Swansea City’s turnaround in form as attention turns to Saturday’s clash with top-of-the-table Leicester City.

The in-form Swans will welcome the Foxes to the Swansea.com Stadium having taken 13 points from the last 15 available in the Championship.

Following a draw at Queens Park Rangers, Duff’s side have reeled off wins against Sheffield Wednesday, Millwall, Norwich City and Plymouth Argyle.

They will resume league action by taking on a Leicester side who have made an outstanding start to the Championship season.

The Foxes sit at the summit of the standings, having won 10 of their 11 league games.

The Swans will start as underdogs against a side boasting a Premier League calibre squad, but they can approach the fixture in good spirits after a run of form Duff has put down to the attitude and spirit of his squad.

“We have a real platform to build on now, and we are a little bit disappointed that we do not have five wins out of five given how close we were at QPR,” he said.

“But after the Cardiff game I said it would tell us everything about our character as a group.

“We had to stick together, it could not be about pointing fingers or blaming anyone else, and no-one did.

“As a group, the players have got their heads down, they have worked really hard and taken on the detail.

“We showed them a couple of things, and they have taken on the information and, ultimately, it is the players who deserve the credit because they have turned it around on the field.

“This is a a tough and demanding league. So, to keep going as they have is tremendous.

“There are lots of positives and we want the players to enjoy these moments.

“We have a big game against Leicester to look forward to, we will prepare and get ready for that because I think they are going to be the team to beat this year.

“But we certainly have a good platform to take for forward."
