Swansea City head coach Michael Duff confirmed that Kristian Pedersen missed Saturday’s victory over Millwall due to a groin injury.

The Dane was voted player of the match for his performance against Sheffield Wednesday, but wasn’t named in the squad to face the Lions after pulling up in training with a groin injury.

“Kristian Pedersen felt his groin in training,” Duff said.

“I thought he was our best player last week. We don’t know yet if he’ll be ready for the next two games but he’ll definitely be back after the international break.”

The Swans boss was also forced into two changes during the Millwall match with Jerry Yates and Charlie Patino coming off.

“Jerry took two dead legs, so we’ll just have to wait and see on that,” Duff added.

“Charlie was just cramp.

“The lads will be in tomorrow for a cooldown, so hopefully nothing else comes from that because we’re starting to get a bit thin on the ground now.”
