Head coach Michael Duff wants his Swansea City side to round off their pre-international break schedule by carrying on their good run of form at Plymouth Argyle this afternoon (3pm).

The Swans have won their last three games against Sheffield Wednesday, Millwall and Norwich City, and taken 10 points from the last 12 on offer.

They lie a place and a point above the Pilgrims in the table, with all the Devon’s clubs wins this season having come at their Home Park stomping ground.

Swans boss Duff is expecting a tough test against a side who recently beat Norwich 6-2, but wants his team to make sure they have another positive performance and result to take into the international break.

“I went to watch them in midweek and I thought they were unlucky to lose to Millwall,” he said.

“They totally dominated the first half, and they were really good. I know the manager there has he has come through the leagues like myself.

“They have been good at home, they beat Norwich 6-2 there, which shows you the challenge we face.

“They have made it into a bit of a fortress, it is loud there. We are taking a lot of fans too so it should be a great atmosphere.

“We have had a day less to recover, it’s always a challenge after playing on a Wednesday, but we have prepared the best we can.

“We want to finish off this good mini-run we have been on and take it into the international break.”
