Morgan Bates joins Inverness on season-long loan

Swansea City striker Morgan Bates has joined Scottish Championship outfit Inverness Caledonian Thistle on a season-long loan, subject to the relevant approval.
The 19-year-old makes the switch to the newly-promoted side, who won the Scottish League One title in May.
Bates finished the 2025-26 campaign as the under-21s’ topscorer with 23 goals in all competitions, one goal better than his previous record of 22 from the season before.
Swansea-born Bates joined the club in September 2024 from Briton Ferry Llansawel, where he linked up with his older brother, Mitchell.
