Nathan Dyer is a doubt for Swansea City’s trip to QPR as the winger battles to overcome a hamstring injury.

Dyer was forced off just 22 minutes into the weekend victory over Preston, with head coach Steve Cooper confirming in his post-match press conference that he had picked up a hamstring problem.

Cooper remains uncertain whether he will be able to call upon the 31-year-old against Mark Warburton’s Rs, but is prepared to give him as much time as possible before making a decision on his availability.

“Nathan came off injured on the weekend, so that is still a little bit inconclusive in terms of his availability,” said Cooper.

“We will obviously need to know either way tomorrow.”

Cooper will otherwise have the same squad to call upon, with Tom Carroll set to make his return to action for the under-23s on Monday night against Aston Villa.
