New deals for Swansea City U23s' duo
Sam Leverett and Jacob Jones have extended their stays with Swansea City.
Midfielder Leverett, who joined the Swans from Leeds United last summer, has had the option to extend his contract by a year through to the summer of 2023 taken up by the club.
Full-back Jones, meanwhile, has signed a short extension through to the end of June 2022, with his previous deal having been due to expire this month.
Leverett, 19, had a frustrating start to the season due to a finger injury, but had started to get regular game time under his belt for the under-23s prior to Christmas.
While Jones, 20 has been with the Swans since the age of nine. The Sketty youngster signing a first pro deal in 2020 and being a regular for Kris O'Leary's development side.
Meanwhile, Adrian Akande and Kieran Petrie have left the club by mutual consent.
