Swansea City Under-18s are aiming for back-to-back wins in Premier League South when they travel to Aston Villa on Saturday (1pm).

The young Swans head to Bodymoor Heath Training Ground off the back on an impressive 4-2 victory over Southampton last weekend.

Anthony Wright and Alan Tate’s side, who were beaten by West Ham on the opening weekend, raced into a 4-0 lead before half-time, with Josh Thomas and Ali Al-Hamadi scoring two goals each.

However, the under-18s will have to make do without the services of Thomas, who was called up to the under-23s for today’s Premier League 2 Division 2 clash with Middlesbrough.

Like the Swans, Villa have begun the season with one win and one defeat from their opening two games.

After winning 3-2 at Southampton in their first match, the young Lions were swept aside 5-1 by Arsenal last weekend.
