Swansea City Under-18s are on the road for the first time this season as they travel north to face Barnsley in the Professional Development League (12pm).
The young Swans kicked off their 2025-26 campaign with a 4-0 victory over Fleetwood Town at the Joma High Performance Centre last week thanks to goals from Harvey Gray, Billy Clarke (2) and an own goal.
Barnsley, meanwhile, fell to defeat in their opening fixture of the season, losing 2-1 to Colchester United away from home.

Coach Joe Roberts: "It's a long trip away, but the travelling is part of it.
"We'll prepare like we always do. There was a lot of learning to be done from the opening game against Fleetwood, and we were pleased with how we responded in the second half, and hopefully we'll see that implemented in Friday's game also."

Swansea City Under-18s kicked off their Professional Development League season with a win over Barnsley on their last visit to south Yorkshire.
Under-16s' striker Harvey Gray got the only goal of the contest, continuing his impressive form during pre-season, before the Swans played out the majority of the second half with 10 men after Kiel Higginson was dismissed for a second booking.
Gray and Alex Godfrey made their first competitive starts for the age group, whilst youth-phase players such as Bobo Evans, Kai Rhodes, Carter Heywood and Alfie Jones also played a part in proceedings.
