Swansea City Under-21s are back on the road on Tuesday afternoon as they travel to Essex to take on Colchester United in the Professional Development League. (1pm kick-off).

The fixture will take place at the Maldon Stadium, home of Isthmian League North Division side Maldon and Tiptree FC.

The Swans continued their unbeaten form in 2023 as they edged Watford with a 3-2 win at Vicarage Road last time out with Liam Smith, Lincoln McFayden and Josh Thomas on the scoresheet.

The U’s are undefeated in their previous three league outings, recording wins against Cardiff City and league leaders Bristol City respectively.

The Swans came from behind in the reverse fixture after trailing to an early Kai Redgrave goal at Landore Training Ground. Two goals from striker Thomas, a tap-in from Ruben Davies and a spot-kick fro Tarelle Whittaker ensured the Swans took all three points.
