Swansea City Under-18s are back in Professional Development League action as they travel to take on Millwall on Saturday morning. (10.30am kick-off).

The Swans travel to London on the back of a positive performance on home turf, producing a second-half comeback against Reading with goals from Yori Griffith, Josh Carey and Geoff Bony.

Ewan Griffiths, Jacob Cook, Sam Parker, Kit Margetson and Iwan Morgan will link back up with the squad following their recent stint with Wales Under-17s in Israel, with striker Morgan netting five goals in two games for his country.

League leaders Millwall put four past Cardiff City away from home last time out and, a week prior, salvaged a 2-2 draw against the Swans, as a late Kavalli Heywood strike ensured the shares were spoiled at Landore Training Ground.

Pre-match views

Coach Darren Davies: "It's been a good working week individually and collectively. Five of the lads are currently away with Wales, and we'll see them again on Friday ready to go for Millwall.

"We only played them just over two weeks ago, where we put in a good performance but lost our edge towards the end. We'll be looking forward to facing them again."

Millwall 1 Swansea City 2

Swansea City Under-18s earned a much-deserved three points on their last visit to face Millwall Under-18s to climb above the Lions in the Professional Development League.

Goals from in-form forwards Corey Hurford and Iwan Morgan put the Swans two goals ahead. Sashiel Adom-Malaki’s late flick would prove a consolation as the Swans made it back-to-back wins in the league.

Hurford continued his rich vein of form, winning the ball on the flank before breaking into the box and calmly finishing to give the Swans the lead, netting his third goal for the club since joining in January.

The Swans strengthened their control of the game when Morgan rounded the goalkeeper and tapped home with six minutes to go.

Millwall found a goal in the third minute of added time, Adom-Malaki’s flick from a set-piece finding the back of the net but it was just a consolation.
