Emily Richards v Carmarthen Town Women

Swansea City Women travel to face The New Saints Women in the Genero Adran Premier this afternoon (1pm kick-off).

The Swans head into the game looking to extend their unbeaten run to eight games, having drawn just one of their last seven outings.

The New Saints have also been enjoying a rich vein of form, having lost just once all season, with that sole defeat coming against champions Cardiff City Women.

The Swans currently sit three points behind TNS, with a game in hand to come against Briton Ferry Llansawel.

Jamie Sherwood v TNS

Swansea City Women's first-team manager Jamie Sherwood: "I'm always confident in the group of players we have and what we are doing.

"In the previous game against TNS we weren't good enough in both boxes and that's what cost us the game.

"It's part of the journey that we are on, we've come a long way since that defeat and it's one defeat in the whole season. We still need to tighten up and improve, but we would be in that position even if we'd had an unbeaten season.

"The squad will be ready to play, we are confident in our group. We've had players out for long periods of time, we've got Jess Williams and Rachel Cullen who have both been out for two or three weeks, Sophie-Brisland-Hancocks is out going into this period, we had Charlie [Haynes] out at the beginning of the season, obviously Katy Hosford has been away as well.

"If you take five or six key players out of any team, most teams would struggle, but this group has coped really well with this and adapted well and I'm fully confident in what we want to do.”
