Swansea City Under-18s are back in action on Saturday afternoon as they travel to west London to take on Queens Park Rangers in the Professional Development League at the R's Training Ground. (1pm kick-off).

It's the age-grade side's first outing in a fortnight after their home fixture against Ipswich Town was postponed due to a frozen pitch. 

Micah Hyde's R's have recorded three wins in their last five league outings, but fell to a 2-1 defeat against reigning champions and league leaders, Charlton last time out.

Coach Darren Davies: "We’ll review our performances, focus on how we can get better as individuals and as a team because it’s all about us learning.

"If there’s an improvement game by game I’ll be happy, and the development of the young lads is what we strive for. 

"We haven't played QPR yet this season, so it'll be a different test, but one we'll be prepared for."

Swansea City Under-18s were unable to hold onto an early lead as they suffered defeat on their last visit to Queens Park Rangers.

The defeat brought an end to a two-game winning run for the young Swans, with the disappointing loss only their second in 2022.

Filip Lissah had put the visitors ahead almost immediately, but two goals for Rayan Kolli were enough to secure three points for the Rs.
