Swansea City Under-18s are back on home turf as they welcome Ipswich Town to the Joma High Performance Centre on Saturday morning (11am).

Entry for this fixture is free, and supporters are permitted on site from 10am.

The Tractor Boys sit just one place above the Swans in the Professional Development League South table, with one point separating the two sides.

Ipswich come into the fixture having won two of their last five league outings, with those victories coming against Colchester United and Brentford respectively.

This is the Swans' first home fixture of 2025, and they were victorious last time in SA1 with a dominant 6-2 win over Colchester United.

Thomas Woodward

Swansea City 4 Ipswich Town 2

A Thomas Woodward hat-trick and a Josh Pescatore strike got 2024 off to a winning start for Swansea City Under-18s as they came from behind when Ipswich Town last visited Landore in the Professional Development League.

Afi Adebayo had given the Tractor Boys the ideal start inside three minutes when he finished off a solo run.

Woodward would draw the Swans level from a tight angle not long after, before putting the hosts ahead from Aimar Govea's delivery.

The visitors drew level shortly after the break, Luke Towler tapping home from a set-piece, but former Tottenham man Pescatore fashioned a brilliant strike within four minutes of his introduction to restore Swansea’s lead.

And 17-year-old Woodward then completed his treble in stoppage time, showing brilliant skill to fend off his man and slot home the hosts’ fourth goal of the contest.
