U18s team huddle 16x9

Swansea City Under-18s will be aiming to make it back-to-back home wins in Premier League South when they welcome Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday (11am).

The young Swans were 4-2 winners over Southampton last time out at Landore, where Josh Thomas and Ali Al-Hamadi scored two goals each.

Anthony Wright and Alan Tate’s side were seconds away from victory away at Aston Villa last weekend, only to be denied by a stoppage-time equaliser from Jaden Philogene-Bidace.

The under-18s are now looking to end their losing run against Tottenham, having been beaten in all three of last season’s meetings between the sides.

Managed by former Portsmouth and Bolton midfielder Matt Taylor, Spurs opened the season with back-to-back defeats against Fulham and Brighton, but stopped the rot with a 4-0 victory over Norwich last weekend.
