Swansea City Under-18s are back in action on home turf as they welcome Wigan Athletic to the Joma High Performance Centre in the Professional Development League on Saturday morning (11am). 

Entry for this fixture is FREE, and spectators are permitted on site from 10am.

Swansea City is encouraging the Jack Army to support the young Swans before heading to the Swansea.com Stadium for the senior side's Championship clash against Hull City, with the fixture being dedicated to celebrating the work of the club's academy.

The young Swans sit second in the PDL South table on nine points, just one behind current leaders Watford.

Swansea have won three and lost just one of their games so far, with wins against Fleetwood Town, Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday; scoring 12 goals in the process. 

The Latics have enjoyed an unbeaten start to their PDL campaign, and currently sit top of the North Division with eight points.

They've registered wins over Queens Park Rangers and Bristol City, and draws against Charlton Athletic and Watford respectively.

Aidan Higgins' goal wasn't enough as two first-half strikes from Wigan Athletic meant defeat for Swansea City Under-18s at Landore.

Wigan opened the scoring in the 15th minute through a low shot from striker Oscar Harris, with Harrison Bettoni putting them two goals to the good shortly after. 

Higgins pulled one back for the hosts following the restart, but they were unable to find a leveller.
