Swansea City Under-21s start their Professional Development League campaign this evening as they welcome Crewe Alexandra to the Swansea.com Stadium (7pm).

Tickets for this fixture are free for season ticket holders and Jack Army members, with £3 general admission for non-season ticket holders. For more information, click HERE. 

The age-grade side will play a Professional Development League fixture at the stadium for the first time this season, and will be looking to continue their 100 per cent record in SA1, having been unbeaten at the stadium over the last three seasons and beyond.

The visitors finished 11th in the PDL North division last term.

Coach Anthony Wright: "It's always great to start the season at the stadium, especially for the new boys who have joined and those who have stepped up from the under-18s.

"The boys have had a good pre-season, especially in the Nathaniel MG Cup and against other Welsh sides, so we're looking forward to re-starting league football on the right foot now."

Josh Ginnelly and Mykola Kuharevich got more valuable minutes under their belt and got on the scoresheet as they helped Swansea City Under-21s to a handsome victory against Crewe Alexandra at the Swansea.com Stadium.

Sam Parker scored his first goal for the under-21s by netting the opener 20 minutes in, arriving at the far post to convert an excellent cross from Joel Cotterill.

Ginnelly doubled the lead after the break with a composed finish, before turning provider to set up Kuharevich for a tap-in, while substitute Iwan Morgan added a fourth late on.

Nathan Robinson got a late consolation for the Railwaymen as they suffered defeat on their travels.
