Swansea City Under-21s are back in Professional Development League action on Tuesday afternoon as they welcome Ipswich Town to Landore Training Ground (12pm).

Entry for this fixture is free, and spectators are permitted on site from 11am.

The Swans come into the fixture on the back of a 3-0 over Bristol City, with Cameron Congreve (2) and Kyrell Wilson on the scoresheet.

That extended their unbeaten home run in the Professional Development League, which now stands at over 12 months; with the development side last losing in SA1 back in November 2022.

Ipswich Town haven't won on their travels since September, where they ran out 3-1 winners against Barnsley, and the Tractor Boys were held to a 1-1 draw against Millwall last time out.

Coach Anthony Wright: "We've got two games in three days, so It'll be a quick turnaround for us with Colchester to come later in the week.

"Last season's game with Ipswich was an entertaining one, we got five goals. But we've had a some good performances from the boys lately and we want to carry those on.

"It's also great that both games are home for us, which allow us to rest up and go again for Colchester."

Swansea City 5 Ipswich Town 3

Four first-half goals from Ruben Davies and a last-minute strike from Corey Hurford saw Swansea City Under-21s secure a second consecutive victory at Landore as they beat Ipswich Town on their last Professional Development League meeting in SA1.

Davies scored twice within three minutes early on, before adding two further strikes to the scoresheet to ensure the Swans went into the interval with a handy lead.

However, Ipswich pulled two quick-fire goals back through Osman Foyo and Joe Edwards to halve their deficit just past the hour mark.

There were some anxious moments after Harry Barbrook struck a third for the Tractor Boys, but Hurford was on hand to finish things off for the Swans in the final minute.
