Swansea City Under-23s welcome Queens Park Rangers Under-23s to the Swansea.com Stadium for their Professional Development League fixture on Monday (12pm kick-off).

Supporters can watch the game for free. Details on how to claim your ticket can be found HERE.

This will be the second time the young Swans have played a game at the Swansea.com Stadium this season, running out commanding 4-2 victors over Crewe Alexandra in their last game at the home of Swansea City.

The Swans come into the match off the back of a 1-0 defeat to Bristol City, a game that the Swans were dominant in for the majority but were hurt by one of the Robins' only chances.

QPR come into the game having won their previous two Professional Development League fixtures, defeating title hopefuls Cardiff City 2-0 before a dominant 4-1 win over Millwall.

In their previous outing, the Rs were eliminated from the Premier League Cup in the last 16, suffering a 4-2 defeat to Premier League 2 side West Bromwich Albion.

Kris O'Leary

Swansea City Under-23s coach Kris O’Leary: “It’s an opportunity for the boys to experience what it’s like playing in the Swansea.com Stadium and they need to be better than they were last time out.

“For some players, it might be their one and only chance to play there, we don’t know. It’s an opportunity which a lot of people would love to experience.

“It’s a fantastic arena to play in and a fantastic pitch as well. It’s part of their development, they’ve got to earn the right to play there with the next few days of training.”

Previous meeting

The two sides last met in the Swans final game of 2021, with the Swans coming out on top with an important 2-0 win.

Jaden Forrester gave the Swans the lead from the penalty spot before Sam Leverett notched his first goal for the club from the edge of the box.
