Swans Women v Cardiff cele

Swansea City Women play their final home game of the 2023-24 campaign as Aberystwyth Town travel to Llandarcy Academy of Sport tonight (7.45 kick off).

Entry for this evening’s game is free for all supporters.

The Swans will be looking to continue their strong home form, having won eight of their last 10 outings in their own back yard.

Aberystwyth, meanwhile, travel in search of their first point in phase two of the Genero Adran Premier, having lost all four of their games without scoring a goal.

The Swans will be looking for a first win at home against Aber since March 2021, with their four most-recent meetings at Llandarcy Academy of Sport ending all-square.

PRE-MATCH VIEWS

Chris Church

Swansea City Women Interim head coach Chris Church: "It's another instance of three days between our last game and this one, we will have to assess to the squad, see where we are at with a couple of knocks and niggles and go again.

"Aberystwyth have always been a difficult opposition, especially when we face them at home, but I think we have to focus on us and we need to be ruthless in front of goal, because I think we were missing that against them last time.

"We want to finish the season strongly, we need to focus on ourselves, just as we did in our last game, and make sure we do ourselves justice."

LAST MEETING

Ellie Lake v Aber

The two sides last met in the penultimate game of phase one, playing out a 1-1 draw at Llandarcy.

Niamh Duggan’s first-half free-kick was enough to send the Seasiders into the break with the lead.

The Swans had a host of chances throughout the second half but couldn’t find the equaliser until seven minutes from time, Jess Williams bundling the ball over the line to level the scores.
