Swansea City Women play at the Swansea.com Stadium for the first time this season as they host Wrexham Women this afternoon (2pm).

The Swans have taken two wins from their three games so far this season, but will be looking to bounce back from defeat to Cardiff last time out.

Wrexham also have two wins from three games, courtesy of victories over Briton Ferry Llansawel and Barry Town United, but they also lost last weekend against The New Saints.

Pre-match views

Swansea City Women head coach Yzzy Taylor: "It's always great playing at the Swansea.com Stadium.

"We are facing a great opposition, so it is something we are really looking forward to and we feel really fortunate to have the chance to perform in the stadium.

"To share that experience with our fans, and friends and family is special. It's great to see the support we have.

"The most important thing is to put in a performance we can be proud of on our own pitch.

"We have had some great games against Wrexham recently. They have scored a lot of goals which is something we have to recognise and make sure we combat, while being positive in attack ourselves."

Previous meeting

Ellie Lake Katy Hosford v Wrexham

Second-half goals from Ellie Lake and captain Katy Hosford saw Swansea City Women defeat Wrexham when the north Wales outfit last visited the Swansea.com Stadium.

The hosts had trailed at the interval to a Carra Jones goal, despite dominating the contest.

But they got their rewards after the break with Lake’s low strike from distance levelling matters, before Hosford prodded home what proved to be the winner.
