Swansea City Under-18s will be aiming to kick-start 2020 in a positive fashion when they face Tottenham Hotspur in Premier League South on Saturday (11am).

The young Swans head to the Tottenham Hotspur Academy for what will be their first match of the calendar year.

Anthony Wright’s side had been scheduled to resume their league campaign against Southampton last weekend, but the fixture was postponed due to the Saints’ participation in the FA Youth Cup.

The Swans are looking to end a run of four straight defeats against Spurs, who have scored 13 goals during that span.

They are also on a five-game winless run in all competitions – conceding 27 goals in that time – but have lost just once in their last three on the road in Premier League South.

Meanwhile, Tottenham have won each of their last three league games and will look to close the gap on the top four with a fourth victory on the spin this weekend.

However, the Swans will take confidence in that Matty Taylor’s side have struggled on home soil this term – losing five of their seven games.
