Swansea City Under-21s are back in Professional Development League action on Monday afternoon as they take on Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium (1pm).

The Swans will be looking to bounce back on their travels, having lost their last three away fixtures in the league.

Wigan, meanwhile, have not won a game in their last five outings in all competitions. The Latics currently sit ninth in the PDL North standings with 19 points.

Coach Anthony Wright: "We've been hit with a lot of injuries recently and, with it being international break, we have some boys representing Wales.

"It also means we can give some minutes to the younger boys, who need some under-21s’ football.

"It's another good occasion as it’s in an EFL stadium, and we always say to the boys to enjoy it as they're always good experiences."

Ten-man Swansea City Under-23s ended their Professional Development League campaign with a draw at Wigan Athletic, despite a brace from Cameron Evans.

The Swans found themselves two goals up, Evans heading the Swans into the lead early, before the defender converted a second-half penalty to make it 2-0.

But the dismissal of Azeem Abdulai brought the Latics back into the game, with Charlie Hughes converting from two set-pieces to level matters for the hosts.
