Swansea City Under-23s will begin their Premier League International Cup campaign at home to PSV Eindhoven on September 19.

The dates have been confirmed for this season’s competition, in which the young Swans will also face Everton and FC Porto in Group D.

The development side welcome the Dutch side to Landore for the opening match, before hosting two-time champions Porto six days later.

Their final group game sees them travel to Southport FC on November 26 to face Everton, who are fresh from winning the league-and-cup double last term.

The under-23s are aiming to progress beyond the group stage of the Premier League International Cup for the first time since reaching the semi-finals three seasons ago.

Despite rescuing a 1-1 draw against Villarreal B in their opening match of last year’s competition, defeats against Hertha Berlin II and Liverpool condemned them to a group-stage exit.
