Report | Coventry City U18s 1 Swansea City U18s 1

9th November
Anthony Wright 16x9

Panashe Makokowe’s stunning goal helped Swansea City Under-18s to a 1-1 draw with Coventry City in the Professional Development League.

The defender gave Anthony Wright’s side a half-time lead with what was his first goal in Swansea colours.

Cutting in from the right, Makokowe unleashed an unstoppable left-footed piledriver into the top corner; leaving the goalkeeper grasping at thin air.

Coventry, who had Jay McGrath sent off in the first half, were handed a golden opportunity to equalise after the break, but Harrison Nee was unable to convert from the penalty spot.

Although, the hosts did level the contest five minutes from time, with George Burroughs ensuring a share of the spoils.
