The Swans Ladies returned to winning ways with an impressive 4-0 victory over Port Talbot Town Ladies at the GenQuip Stadium on Sunday.

The Swans created plenty of chances throughout the first half but failed to convert them against a determined Port Talbot side.

The Swans’ hard work paid off in the second half as Katy Hosford opened the scoring for the visitors in the 53rd minute to take her to 10 goals for the 2017-18 season.

Emma Beynon doubled the Swans’ lead in the 77th minute in her first game since returning from injury.

Striker Jodie Passmore netted in the 80th minute to extend the Swans Ladies’ lead to 3-0, before Hosford bagged her second in the dying minutes to seal the win for Ian Owen’s side.

Hosford was delighted with the performance and result, saying: “We’re really glad to be back to winning ways in our last game of the year.

“We knew we needed to come away with the three points and we’ll be looking to build on this in 2018.

“It feels great to grab another brace and I’m glad I could help the team get the win.”.
