Swansea City Under-23s beat Cymru South side Briton Ferry 7-0 in a friendly at Landore on Wednesday night.

The Swans led 3-0 at half-time with goals from Rio Campbell and Jaden Forrester before Adrian Akande, Tarrelle Whittaker and Cameron Congreve added to the score in the second half.

Campbell opened the scoring for the Swans, slotting past the Briton Ferry goalkeeper just four minutes into the game.

A first-half brace from Forrester ensured the Swans were three goals to the good before the break. Dylan Morgan provided an excellent assist for his first before a deflected effort looped over the goalkeeper to give Forrester his second of the afternoon.

The Swans continued to add to their lead in the second half, with Akande and Whittaker both finding the back of the net after the break.

Congreve scored goals in the 86th and 87th minute to make it 7-0 and finalise a dominant Swans performance.
