Report | Swansea City Under-23s 2 Barry Town 0

24th July
Landore

Swansea City Under-23s added another victory to their pre-season preparations after they beat Barry Town at Landore on Saturday.

Tarrelle Whittaker’s brace was enough for Kristian O’Leary’s side, who had beaten Trefelin in their opening warm-up game earlier in the week.

Whittaker put the Swans ahead after 25 minutes as he curled a 25-yard free-kick around the wall and into the net.

After the break, it was Whittaker who doubled the lead after he was fed by a trialist, and the forward took one touch before coolly finding the bottom corner.

That proved the best of the action at Landore, with the under-23s hosting Larkhall in their next fixture on Tuesday.
