REPORT: Wolves U21s 1 Swans U21s 1

14th March

Sub Owain Jones earned Swansea City Under-21s a point as they held Wolves 1-1 in their Barclays Premier League Division Two fixture in Telford.
The young Swans fell behind just past the half-hour mark as Wales Under-21 striker Bradley Reid headed home after 32 minutes.
But the visitors were back on level terms in the 71st minute as sub Jones made an instant impact as he netted with his first touch from Daniel James' pass to set up a tense finish.
Neither side could find a winner though with the Swans having to settle for a share of the spoils.
Coach Gary Richards was pleased with the way in which the young Swans fought their way back into the game, but conceded a failure to take opportunities denied them a chance of victory.
"It was a difficult pitch to play on, but despite that we managed to create a number of chances early on," said Richards.
"It was a bit scrappy at times, but we tried our best to play to our strengths and we finished the game very strongly.
"We are pleased with the way we reacted after falling a goal behind, but ultimately we could have won the game with the amount of chances we created."
Swans U21s are next in action on Friday when they host Blackburn Rovers at Landore (1pm).
