Steve Cooper says George Byers is a doubt for Swansea City’s trip to Reading, but Wayne Routledge and Rhian Brewster are available.

The Swans head to the Madejski Stadium with a chance of securing a play-off place.

They will need to win against the Royals, and hope results in the games involving Cardiff City or Nottingham Forest go their way.

Midfielder Byers missed the weekend win over Bristol City with a groin problem, and is rated as 50-50 to be able to be involved in Berkshire.

But Routledge and striker Brewster, who had minor knocks, are both fine to feature.

Kyle Naughton will again be suspended, while Freddie Woodman, Joe Rodon and Ben Wilmot are all injured.

“Wayne is fine, George is 50-50 so we will have to see how training tomorrow goes,” said head coach Cooper.

“Kyle is still suspended but, apart from long term injuries, we are all set.

“Rhian is fine, he was carrying a dead leg on the weekend, but it was not anything that would have stopped him starting.

“It’s a knock and there will be a lot of players with that sort of situation given the schedule we have had, the numbers of games being played, so I would say that will be pretty normal for  lot of clubs at the moment.”
