Swansea City striker Rhian Brewster has been nominated for June’s Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award.

The on-loan Liverpool striker  scored two goals in his first three appearances following the resumption of the Championship season, while he was unfortunate to see a brilliant free-kick against Millwall chalked down as an own goal.

Head coach Steve Cooper has praised the 20-year-old’s growing maturity and that has been recognised with his nomination for the monthly prize.

The other nominees are Charlton defender Jason Pearce, Derby midfielder Louie Sibley and Luton goalkeeper Simon Sluga.

The winner will be announced at 10am on Friday, July 10.
