Richards calls for Under-21s to finish strongly

17th March

Gary Richards has called on the Under-21s to finish the season strongly ahead of Friday's clash against Blackburn at Landore (1pm).
The development squad return to action on the back of a 1-1 draw at Wolves on Monday, while the young Swans also came from behind to beat league leaders Derby a fortnight ago.
Blackburn, meanwhile, ran out 2-0 winners when the two sides met last month and sit just one place below Swansea in the league table.
And coach Gary Richards has called on the Under-21s - who also include first-team players Marvin Emnes and Kyle Bartley in their squad - to finish the season strongly.
"We want to build on our last victory against Derby, because that was a good win against a side who are top of the league," he said.
"We want to finish the season strongly with only five league games left to play - four of which are at home."
