Rodon hails Sanches experience
Joe Rodon believes Swansea City have one of Europe’s leading youngsters on their books after getting a sneak peak of Renato Sanches in action this week.
Sanches linked up with his new Swans team-mates today after making the transfer deadline day move from Bayern Munich on a season-long loan.
The Euro 2016 winner was on international duty with his nation’s under-21 side on Tuesday, with Rodon’s Wales providing the opposition.
And the Swans Under-23s skipper, who also captained his country in the 2-0 defeat, was full of praise for Paul Clement’s latest arrival.
“It was a great experience to play against a player like him,” said Rodon.
“He is up there as one of Europe’s best young players and I was glad to play against him.
“I didn’t get a chance to speak to him, but it will be great to have him at Swansea and we look forward to seeing what sort of impact he has.”
