Wayne Routledge has handed Swansea City a fitness boost after returning to training ahead of the weekend clash with Millwall.

The winger, 34, has not featured for the Swans since suffering a calf strain in the win over Sheffield United, an injury which forced him to be withdrawn at half-time against the Blades.

He has since sat out the FA Cup clash with Gillingham plus Championship fixtures against Birmingham and Bristol City.

But the experienced wide man, who has been in fine form since returning to the starting line-up against Brentford at the start of December, was fit enough to take part in Tuesday's session.

Daniel James also trained after sitting out the defeat at Bristol City.
