Swansea City boss Russell Martin will assess a few players nursing bumps and bruises before making a final decision on his selection to face Norwich City on Saturday.

After home victories against Huddersfield and Preston, the Swans round off a three-game week with the long trip to take on the Canaries at Carrow Road.

Martin admitted there are a few knocks on the back of a frantic and dramatic midweek win against North End, and it may well mean there are changes as he returns to the club he enjoyed such success with as a player.

“We have a couple of people with knocks and bumps and bruises,” he said.

“This is a three-game week so we have got to be conscious of that, and there may be one or two who have to miss out or are rested with other guys coming into the team.

“We will assess that again when we train on Friday, but whatever team we put out at the minute, we are in a really good place.

“Anyone who has come into the team has performed and we have really been excellent.

“Whether you start or on the bench you have a role to play, and that has really been highlighted these last few weeks.

“Everyone has contributed hugely.”

Joe Allen is set to miss out through suspension following his red card in midweek.
