Swansea City head coach Russell Martin was excited by the impact his new signings made in the 0-0 draw against Hull City.

The clash with the Tigers saw three deadline day arrivals make their debuts in front of the Jack Army at the Swansea.com Stadium.

Olivier Ntcham and Rhys Williams were named in the starting XI while Michael Obafemi was amongst the substitutes and made a late cameo appearance..

The boss was pleased with their showings, particularly that of Ntcham as he impressed from the get go in a lively display.

“They we’re brilliant, I thought Olivier was fantastic. He probably played a bit more than we had planned," said Martin.

“When he gets fitter, stronger and sharper, he’s going to be a really exciting player. I thought he was really good today.”

Michael Obafemi
Michael Obafemi makes his debut for Swansea City.

“Rhys Williams settled in brilliantly, he played like he had been here for a long time.

“I thought Flynn Downes was great, we really missed him. For him to play the way he did so early on after joining, then for him to be out for a while. I thought he was outstanding today.

"It was also good for Michael to get some minutes on the pitch, and that will do him good as we build him up."
