Swansea City head coach Russell Martin says his side must show fight and determination when they face Millwall at The Den this evening.

The Swans are looking for their first away win since January when they saw off ten-man Sunderland 3-1 at the Stadium of Light and Martin believes a positive result could be the turning point for his side.

The head coach believes that the Swans’ performances against high-flying Luton Town and Middlesbrough are beginning to return and he hopes that results will follow.

“We need a win before the break to help build some momentum and for everyone to feel positive,” he said.

“I like what I’ve seen from the lads in the last two games. We’ve got a bit of zip, energy and confidence back.

“We have to go to Millwall on Tuesday and show the same fight and willingness to work for each other that we’ve shown in the past two games and try to find a way to win.

“It’s a place we went to last season and did brilliantly at, hopefully we can do it again.”
