Swansea City will be without Ryan Bennett for Saturday’s clash with Bristol City as the defender recovers from the calf injury he picked up at Huddersfield.

But head coach Steve Cooper is hopeful of having Kyle Naughton available after the centre-back had to go off during the second half of the win over Coventry in midweek.

And captain Matt Grimes is fit and available after being able to play on after hurting his shoulder during the first half against the Sky Blues.

“Ryan is going to be out for a couple of weeks with his calf,” said Cooper, as he provided a team news update for the weekend fixture.

“With Kyle, we are not too sure, fingers crossed it is not too serious. He played on with it for a while, and it got to the point where it was best to take him off.

“Matt Grimes is fine, I was a bit worried with how he went down, but it was something he shook off quickly.

“Apart from those we are good to go.”
