Ryan Blair Swansea City Under-23s

31st January

Midfielder Ryan Blair has called on Swansea City under-23s to learn from Monday's defeat against Fulham with an improved performance next week.
A George Williams penalty in the final five minutes denied the young Swans the opportunity to extend their unbeaten run in Premier League 2.
The result means the under-23s' lead at the top of the Division 2 table has cut to ten points.
Despite that, Scottish midfielder Blair, who joined the Swans from Falkirk last January, believes the side should have done better in Monday's game.
"We were very disappointed with the defeat," the 19-year-old said. "We felt we were the better side in large parts of the game.
"We had good spells of play, but did not take our chances and that cost us in the long run.
"On another day we would have scored three or four goals, but it was not to be. Now we need to make sure we bounce-back from this defeat in the right way.
"We will try not to be too down. A loss was going to happen eventually. It is impossible to win every game, but it was disappointing the way we lost this one.
"We need to take the confidence from what we have achieved so far this season and ensure we come back from this fighting and get a decent performance and three points from our next game."
